Wood is a good absorbent of water and Different types of wood display different reactions to water exposure. A heavier, denser wood will do better with water than a light wood. Water also will cause breakdowns, such as rotting and mildew on the wood. EASY TO INSTALL

Regular wooden frames are installed during construction phase which poses a tedious job of safeguarding it from cement and water until the construction is completed. Whereas the Xyloid’s synthetic wood can be installed during construction phase but it is not harmed by cement and water. It can also be installed after the plastering of walls just by using the anchor bolts which cannot be done in case of wood.

The heat from the sun can easily dry up the wood causing shrinkage. Apart from the surface damage it also causes structural damage. Hence on a long run, it is expensive to maintain.
